O processo seletivo para fazer faculdade nos Estados Unidos é bem diferente do vestibular brasileiro!

As universidades americanas levam em consideração 7 fatores ao analisar a candidatura de um aluno:

– Notas do Ensino Médio (incluindo também o nono ano);

– Notas no SAT ou ACT, os exames para admissão padronizados (equivalentes ao nosso ENEM);

– Nota do TOEFL, o exame de proficiência em inglês;

– Atividades extracurriculares que o aluno se envolveu durante o ensino médio;

– Cartas de recomendação;

– Redações;

– Entrevista com representante da faculdade (apenas em algumas universidades);

As universidades dos Estados Unidos avaliam todos esses fatores porque elas querem ter uma visão muito mais completa de quem o estudante é, sua história de vida, seus interesses e suas motivações.

Como é possível perceber, alguns desses fatores precisam ter atenção especial desde o início do ensino médio: por exemplo, o aluno não terá a possibilidade de “voltar no tempo” e mudar as suas notas do primeiro e segundo ano do ensino médio (a candidatura geralmente é feita no 3º ano) e também pode perder a chance de se envolver em atividades extracurriculares que engrandeçam mais seu perfil acadêmico.

– Poderão identificar quais universidades estão mais de acordo com seu perfil;

You might add a related video or a related picture or two to grab people interested about what you’ve written. In my opinion, it would bring your posts a little livelier.|
